Join us for an informational evening with ITC parent and registered dietician, Meg Steffey Schrier. Meg will review basic nutritional information for young children and will include suggestions for lunches and snacks, including information on portions, timing, and avoiding struggles over food. Meg’s focus is on making strong choices and creating positive relationships around food, at home and at the center. Meg Steffey Schrier, MS, RD, CSSD, LDN
Meg Steffey Schrier is a registered dietitian practicing at Harvard University specializing in sports nutrition, gastrointestinal illnesses, and pediatrics. She is a board certified sports dietitian (CSSD), which is the premier professional sports nutrition credential. She also has an M.S. in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Simmons College and completed her dietetic internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard teaching hospital. She has a small private practice where she sees a range of patients/families. As a licensed and practicing dietitian as well as a mother, Meg buttresses her foundation of nutritional knowledge with practical experience of how to feed a family of all sizes.
