Auction FAQ

The auction is a fun evening for the entire ITC community, but it can also raise a lot of questions, especially if you’re attending for the first time! Below are answers to some common questions about the auction. If you need additional information please email the auction committee at: auction@itcacton.org

How do I bid in the Online Auction?

  • Visit the Online Catalog here
  • Click on a catalog item you are interested in
  • Select bid
  • Login or create an account (if you have a ticket, you already have an account)
  • Enter a credit card
  • Bidding can be done as a one-time amount, or you can use the “Otto” feature to set a max bid amount and enable auto-increment bids
  • Enter your cell to be notified when you’ve been outbid
  • When bidding for your item ends you will be prompted to "close out" and finalize the purchase

Who can come to ITC Auction in-person event?

This is an adults only party and tickets will need to be purchased for each guest. Invitations are limited to current and former ITC families, staff and qualifying sponsors.

My child has already graduated from ITC, why am I receiving an invite?

Historically, the auction was primarily for current families but as we are bringing it back after a 4 year hiatus (due to Covid) we are sending invites to all families that missed the opportunity to attend during those years. We are welcoming all members of the alumni community as well to join in the fun and support the center.

What happens at the ITC auction?

We have a really good time! It's a cocktail party and fundraiser that benefits ITC. You can bid on a wide variety of unique items, play some games, or just relax and have fun with all your favorite people from ITC.

What is the dress code?

There are no strict requirements but it's a nice event at the lovely Stow Acres Country Club. Snappy / Smart casual attire recommended.

Can I donate an item to the auction?

Yes! Individual donations make up some of our best auction items. Fill out the donation information section of the event ReadySetAuction site or email us at auction@itcacton.org if you have any questions.

How do I buy tickets?

Tickets are available through the event ReadySetAuction site or email us at auction@itcacton.org.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

No, tickets must be purchased prior to the event.  Early bird tickets are available through March 8th and Standard tickets are available through March 17th.

Why am I being asked to create an account to purchase tickets?

As a non-profit ITC has to meet regulatory requirements around tracking of donors and donations. By creating an account you provide the information ITC needs. The account will also be useful for the auction itself as ReadySetAuction will be used to process all transactions.

Is there food at the ITC auction?

Catering for the event will be provided by Stow Acres Country Club and will include passed appetizers, small bites and sweet treats. A cash bar will be available too.

Can I attend the ITC auction even if I don’t plan on buying anything?

Certainly, the ITC auction is a fun night out whether or not you bid on items or make purchases.
