Vivian Ricketts
Vivian Ricketts is a teacher in PSII. She began her work at ITC in October of 1983. She has had the opportunity to work with all the various age groups. Preschool age children continue to be her favorite! Vivienne love the children’s love of exploration, sense of adventure, and their unyielding enthusiasm for learning. As a child, Vivienne was always drawn to young children. For as long as she can remember, she has seen herself as a teacher. Vivienne feels fortunate enough to have been able to fulfill her dream to become an educator of young children, and love that she is able to work at a multi-pedagogical center such as ITC. One aspect that Vivienne admires and appreciates about the center is how much outdoor play is valued and advocated. She, herself is passionate about getting children, in the woods, daily! When Vivienne is not working, she is walking in the woods, Jazzercising, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
